Pelangi Bahasa, Budaya dan Sastra Indonesia (Rainbow of Indonesian Language, Culture and literature)
The Indonesian archipelago, a vast region comprising more than 17,000 islands, is home to the Indonesian people, numbering around 255 million people making Indonesia the fourth most populous country in the world. Ethnically, culturally, and linguistically, Indonesia is also one of the world’s most diverse countries, with around 700 ethnolinguistic groups.
Bahasa Indonesia, with over 200 million speakers, is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. It is Indonesia’s national, official, and unifying language. Along with its local colloquial-(Malay) varieties across the archipelago, Bahasa Indonesia is the medium embodying the nation’s diverse and vibrant cultures.
We value and celebrate the beauty and harmony of Indonesia’s diversity through culture and language education.
